The annual Congress EAACI (European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology), which is the most important event of the year for anyone who is interested in allergy and allergic diseases, concluded in London on June 8.
The congress was attended by more than 8,000 allergists, clinicians, researchers, academics and professionals from around the world. Congress delegates were there to get information on the latest developments in allergy, exchange ideas and update their knowledge.
Airsonett has identified EAACI and their members as a very interesting target group and the company has received Founder Sponsor status for EAACI, which means a long-term and extensive cooperation with the organization.
Airsonett’s very well-attended booth offered the visitors to put themselves in one of four beds and try Protexo ®. They were given a demonstration of how Protexo and TLA is able to displace body convection without creating draft or dehydration and thereby significantly reduce aeroallergen exposure. The visitors also could see a short film about Protexo and the TLA technology at an iPad.
For more information on Protexo visit www.airsonett.com, see the film or look at the Asthma area.
Airsonett also arranged a symposium June 8 under the heading:
“Successful control of particulate exposure modifies allergic airway diseases. A truly novel approach using Temperature controlled Laminar (TLA)”. At the symposium the very interesting results of our international, multi-center 4A study was presented for the first time to a curious and impressed international audience.
Airsonett is a research based medical technology company with a unique technology which leads the development of preventative and secondary preventative treatment of allergic asthma as well as management of airborne bacteria and virus contamination. Airsonett was awarded the title Sweden’s MedTech Company of the Year 2009. www.airsonett.com
