Airsonett strengthens the position in the UK

To increase Airsonett’s international presence in UK and Ireland, the company has recruited a new Area Manager, Brian Jones. Brian will as of 1 June, 2010 be responsible for sales and marketing of Airsonett’s products in the region.

“UK is one of our prioritized markets. We already have an established office near London, which until now has focused its resources on supporting our research in UK. With an Area Manager, we can enhance efforts to expand Airsonett’s presence on the UK market. “Says Peter Ekolind, Global Sales Director at Airsonett “Brian’s expertise and broad network of contacts is very valuable to us when we introduce our products Opragon® and Protexo® on the British market.”

Brian has been an education in the “Special Examination in Clinical Bacteriology” from the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science and also has an education in medical microbiology from the HNC Medical Laboratory Sciences. He has extensive experience and great knowledge in the Life Sciences area, especially in the areas of diagnostic and pharmaceutical sales.

Most recently Brian held a position as ‘Clinical Specialist’ at Brahms UK, and he previously worked as Sales Manager for UK & Ireland at Oxford Immunotec Ltd, Abingdon.
