Airsonett has received its first order to India from Apollo Hospital, Ahmedabad. The order covers the product Opragon® – a unique technology for ultra-clean air in operating theatres. The order is initially on two Opragon systems to be used in two operating theatres and a further order for two more Opragon is expected in November 2010.
Apollo Hospital, Ahmedabad is a modern hospital, which opened in 2003. The hospital has 400 hospital beds and 65 intensive care beds. It is the largest privately owned hospital in the Gujarat province, which offers medical care of international class and with many medical specialties. Medical tourism has grown tremendously in India during the past years and the Apollo Hospital patients come from all over the world.
Apollo Hospital, Ahmedabad is part of the Apollo Group, which are the largest private hospital chain in Asia and the third largest in the world. Apollo Group has 50 hospitals in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ghana, Nigeria, Republic of Mauritius, Qatar and Kuwait. Several of the Apollo Hospital Groups hospitals in India are the first to be internationally accredited.
