Airsonett appoints Chief Operations Officer

Airsonett has appointed yet another key position. Mikael Nilenfelt will get a central role in the company with responsibility for production. As Chief Operations Officer, Mikael will be in charge of Airsonett’s production as well as having an overall administrative responsibility for all resource management including production, purchase and logistics.

Airsonett is a research based medical technology company with a unique technology which leads the development of preventative and secondary preventative treatment of allergic asthma as well as management of airborne bacteria and virus contamination.

– “Mikael’s knowledge in “lean manufacturing” and long experience from operation development in Swedish and international process industry will be a valuable asset for us when we now are preparing the international launch of our products Protexo and Opragon, says Airsonett’s CEO Dan Kristensson.

Mikael was previously Process Development Manager at Sandvik. Before working for Sandvik he had similar positions at Tetra Pak and the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. Mikael has a degree in Manufacturing and Quality Management, as well as having diplomas from several Management Courses including IMD in Lausanne.
