Airsonett selected MedTech Company of the Year 2009 in Sweden

Airsonett has been awarded the title MedTech* Company of the Year 2009 in Sweden. The jury consists of MedTech Magazine and IFL at Stockholm School of Economics.

The Jury motivates the choice: “A Swedish company, with roots in Skåne, has with its unique technology developed a prophylactic treatment of allergic asthma and also used the technology for a system which prevents patient infections in the operating environment. The company has consistently built a portfolio of patents and invested in clinical research which has resulted in innovative products in the MedTech field. Moreover the product competes with traditional pharmaceutical treatment for asthma. The company is now working towards an international expansion.”

Airsonett is a research based medical technology company with a unique technology which leads the development of preventative and secondary preventative treatment of allergic asthma as well as management of airborne bacteria and virus contamination.
